Hey folks! I'm considering Kamala for a condo purchase, mostly for family vacations and light rental when we aren't using it. How is the area compared to Patong or Bang Tao in terms of beach quality and vibe? Are condo prices there absurd, or can you still find reasonable deals close to the water?

Kamala is definitely quieter and more family-friendly than Patong, but much closer to upscale places like Millionaire's Mile. I managed to buy condo Kamala beach units through Papaya Property recently; their entry prices start around 2.46M THB for boutique complexes. They guaranteed the best price and even provided a 150K THB cashback, which covered my initial furnishing.
