Limited Mobility:



The totem playstyle inherently lacks mobility. Since you rely on POE 2 Currency totems to deal damage, you may find yourself unable to deal with certain enemies or mechanics that require you to move quickly. If enemies close in on you or if there are high-mobility bosses, it could lead to situations where you need to reposition or re-summon totems quickly, which can interrupt your rhythm.



Totem Fragility:



While totems are generally sturdy, they are still vulnerable to enemy attacks, especially during chaotic fights. If the enemies can easily target and destroy your totems, it could significantly reduce your damage output. This can be particularly problematic in boss fights or crowded areas where your totems may be in constant danger.



Gear Dependency:



Like most elemental damage builds, the Holy Flame Totem Inquisitor build is heavily dependent on gear to maximize its damage potential. You need to find or craft gear that boosts your elemental damage, critical strike chance, totem-related stats, and survivability. Without proper gear, your totems won’t be as effective, and your damage output could suffer significantly.



Setup Time:



This build requires setup time before engaging enemies. You need to summon your totems, apply buffs, and position yourself correctly to maximize your damage output. If you're not well-prepared before an encounter, your totems may not perform optimally, leading to less effective damage. For players who prefer quicker, more direct playstyles, this can feel slow or cumbersome.



Vulnerable to Elemental Resistances:



Since the Holy Flame Totem build relies heavily on fire damage, enemies with high elemental resistances to fire can reduce the effectiveness of your totems. While the Inquisitor ascendancy helps mitigate some of this with resistance penetration, certain enemies or bosses with high resistances can still be problematic.



Limited Direct Control:



Unlike some other builds where you directly engage in combat, the Holy Flame Totem build is more passive, with your totems doing the fighting for you. While this can be an advantage in terms of safety and ease of cheap POE 2 Orbs play, it can also feel less engaging for some players who prefer a more active role in combat.
